Gunnar Samuelson

Gunnar joined MHP in 2024 and now leads MHP’s Self Storage Team nationally. Gunnar brings an elite market perspective allowing him to identify unique self storage investment opportunities.

Prior to joining MHP, Gunnar spent 5 years with Goldman Sachs working on their Private Equity business in New York City, where he focused on Infrastructure and ESG related companies ranging from $100mm to $650mm. Gunnar also has experience in the fin-tech start up space, having co-founded a mock portfolio modeling application aimed at connecting younger upcoming generations to financials markets.

Gunnar earned his B.S. in Economics with an emphasis in Computer Science from the Eller College of Management and The University of Arizona.
